L’ Auxey-Duresses Premier Cru Le Val 2004, 40 year old vines, on a ground argilo-limestone, a wine of beautiful matter, with firm tannins, with the nose characteristic of red fruits, spices and undergrowth, very typified. The Volnay 2004, 30 year old vines, is concentrated, with the undergrowth and cherry perfume, of a large aromatic smoothness.
