Winegrowing of 9 ha, located in the best climates of Côte-de-Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise. Gerard Vitteaut, assisted by his wife and his daughter, Agnès, can be proud of his vintages, this famous Crémant which it is necessary to know to respect and appreciate for his own qualities. “On our premises, the 2008 are a very good vintage, specifies us Agnès Vitteaut, in the line of the 2007, with a good acidity which gives freshness, lightness and smoothness. The grape harvest proceeded rather late, at the end of September – at the beginning of October, but, altogether in the normal, since they had been very early for a few years.” You will like like us them Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc De Blancs 2006, a top-of-the-range vintage, very delicate, marked by the significant proportion of Chardonnay (80%, the remainder in Aligoté), delicately proportioned, of foam unctuous, powerful, with the concentrated nose where prevail the dry small fruits, of a beautiful full and long final. There is this Crémant de Bourgogne cuvée Agnès 2006, fermented vinified by Agnès Vitteaut, an assembly 100% Chardonnay of grapes of the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte of Beaune, a quite nice golden wine with the reflection of amber, lively and fresh mouth prevailed by notes of citrus fruits and peaches white, with this long and harmonious final. Crémant de Bourgogne white 2006 (40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Aligoté), all in refinement, releases an undeniable charm by its fruity delicate and its persistence, perfect in the aperitif but which can be appreciated throughout the meal. There is also this very attractive Crémant of de Bourgogne rosé brut 2006, a pure Pinot Noir, with the blackcurrant nose, extremely well well-balanced, distinguished and lively in mouth, one of best of the area, of intense foam, all in persistence, very pleasant on a slightly raised kitchen.

At the top of their appellation. Château is matured on a light eminence placed between 2 mountains with escaped from sight from midday. It is composed of 2 main buildings leant one against the other. It is a small stronghold located on the commune of Igé, in the old parish of Dommange. This nice vineyard of Mâconnais is established on calcareous and very sunny slopes. Old vines and limited yields guarantee wines of quality. The wine making is traditional, the grape with maturity is collected with the hand as a majority, the maturing is done out of barrels of oak. “Concerning the vintage 2008, we specifies Paul-Henry Borie, the white have a good acidity, a little too, it will be one vintage of guard. The quantity is much lower for the reds of Pinot, but quality is comparable with the 96. A good maturity grace at the end of September dries and sunny.” One thus gives pleasure with Mâcon-Igé Vieilles Vignes red 2007, maturing in oak barrel, rich color as in aromas (morello cherry, violet, humus), of elegant and robust structure. The 2006, of beautiful garnet-red robe, structured, with the persistent nose where prevail of the undergrowth and cherry notes, are a wine particularly successful, perfect on a stew. The 2005, with the nose very characteristic of ripe blackcurrant, associate roundness and structure, with tasty tannins, of a beautiful complexity in mouth where the blackcurrant, the cherry and the undergrowth are harmonized, a wine of excellent evolution as attests of it this Mâcon-Igé red 2003, which obtained and deserved a gold medal in Burgondia, with the nose prevailed by the cooked red small fruits (morello cherry, prune), of beautiful steady robe, a wine with a very harmonious structure. Mâcon Igé white Vieilles Vignes 2007, pure a Chardonnay, very pleasant, is subtly having a nice bouquet, at the same time vivid and supple, a wine floral, harmonious, of full mouth to the notes of hawthorn and apple, to lead to an pike perch. Burgundy white 2006, maturing in oak barrel, is of good mouth, with nuances of honeysuckle. Excellent Bourgogne rosé, regularly succeeded like Crémant de Bourgogne brut, Tastevinage 2008, a wine all in subtlety, of creamy foam, a scented, light and round at the same time, charming vintage, the whole at prices defying any competition.

Much liked red Rully Premier Cru La Fosse 2006, a wine of beautiful garnet-red color deep, which always is very typified, marked by the red fruits good ripe and the violet, rich and round at the same time, with a beautiful structure, of tasty mouth. The 2005, with a strong color, robust, fleshy and meaty at the same time, with tannins quite present, are a wine which feels spices and small stone-fruits, of good evolution as shows it this 2004, with aromas of spices, fruits black and undergrowth, fleshy, full, a wine which fills up the mouth well. Excellent white Rully Premier Cru Marissou 2006, all harmonizes of it, all into fruity and roundness, persistent, with the subtle aromas of white flowers and pear.
